Just before the end of the school year I got a call from a mom about doing a senior session for her son. After talking a bit, we came to the conclusion that a Short and Sweet session was exactly what they needed. I have found that while senior girls are totally into multi-location, multiple wardrobe options type sessions, some guys just aren’t that into it. I can understand that – there are lots more fun things they would like to do rather than stare emotionally into a black box on someone’s face!
So, to make this as easy and painless a process as possible, the Short and Sweet was our best option. Daniel’s mom wanted to shoot in a beautiful and meaningful location, and thankfully there just happened to be one right in their neighborhood! I pass this park almost daily, and have always wanted to do a photo session there, so it was a great opportunity for me.
And Daniel certainly did not disappoint! He was a natural.
We battled serious wind and harsh sunlight that morning, but it was actually great because it forced me to find creative locations to shoot on this particular property. Thankfully we didn’t have to deal with Daniel’s hair blowing out of place, but mine certainly gave me fits!Oh yes, a drainage tunnel will do just fine! Don’t you just love it?!?Daniel loves his Jeep and so we had to capture some images with him with it. I think I love these shots the most of all.Daniel, thank you so much for hanging with me and letting me capture your senior photos. I wish you all the best in the upcoming year.
What’s YOUR story?
