“I stared because their faces, so different, so similar, were all devastatingly, inhumanly beautiful.” ~
Bella Swan
Ok, I admit it. I am a Twilight fan. Not in a huge, travel to the actual Forks, Washington and explore La Push beach way *cough, KIM, cough*, but I am a fan. I went with some girlfriends to the midnight showing of Eclipse, dressed in my custom made t-shirt complete with Jacob quote on the back (Team Jacob!!) and it was fun. But I am not really a true fan girl. I read the books once; though I will probably reread Breaking Dawn before the movie comes out in November…
Anyway, all that is to say, it was so fun to do a senior photo session with a true Twi-hard!! Her name is Megan, and she is quite beautiful.
Megan, a class of 2011 senior from Leander High School, arranged for her senior session to be out at a beautiful park just outside of Georgetown, and we met just before sunset. It was a beautiful evening, and we shot well into the…..wait for it…..
Twilight. *snicker*
Ok, I’ll stop now. Megan brought her sweet puppy along for some shots too. And I bet you’ll never guess what her name is.
Yeah, it’s Bella. But I am sure you knew that. 😉
Megan was an awesome subject. After working several locations in the park we came upon some stone work where the light was absolutely amazing. I didn’t want to leave this spot!
This next one is my favorite from the session.
STUNNING!
We did a wardrobe change and headed for the trees. Set against the green background, Megan’s eyes popped in gorgeous contrast. I pulled out my favorite lens, a Canon 135mm, f/2 L, and it focused so perfectly on her eyes while making all that green behind her a smooth blanket of color. Dreamy…
Megan, thank you so much for trusting me with your senior portraits! It was so fun to hang out with you and learn a little bit about your story. I wish you all the best!
What’s YOUR story?
